A Hub-Bub of Activity!"'

Holy Cow!
It's been a busy week....
sit back... we have lots of pix to show you...

We had last week's agility class...
Daffy learning the Weave Poles

 ...and then running a course...

Then there was some general all purpose cuteness happening around here...

Oh look! A squirrel!

And then there was the #TwoBullsFire
We could see the whole thing from our windows.... very scary. We were lucky that we were not part of the evacuation. Although if the winds had changed direction that might not have been the case.
I'm happy to report that as of today it has been 100% contained!

Daffy on fire watch... you can see the smoke through the window behind her...

This deer was pretty interested in Daffy, but she couldn't be bothered...
We went on a hike at Smith Rock with our friend Theresa
Smith Rock is a spectacular spot.

Theresa, Jim, and Daffy

Daffy with a lot of Central Oregon behind her and the Cascades in the distance.

Today we had our final agility class.... Daffy did great!

..waiting their turn...

..wait for meeeeeeee.......

Agility is a workout for all concerned

'Treat please'
'all this excitement has worn me out.... nap time!'
We are readying the motorhome for our first adventure since we have moved here. It will be Daffy's first trip. TSK is a seasoned pro.
We will keep you posted on our upcoming road trip!

SUP'in Daffy

Today we took Daffy to Hosmer Lake in the Cascades for her first ride on a stand up paddle board. This was a big ask for our little girl from Kansas. We don't know if she has ever been near a body of water bigger than a bathtub. She fell in a couple of times but her tail kept wagging through it all.

Treats are always a good way to start a new adventure.

The first float. So far so good.

The life vest with a handle came in handy.

Beautiful setting with Mt. Bachelor in the background.

After Daffy took a dunk.

This is a perfect board riding position. Didn't last long.

Wait! Come back!
Part of the 'falling in' is that Daffy likes us to stay together. If she was on Dana's board she wanted to go to Jim's board... jumping in the water.... and visa versa... Reminds us of a certain kitty and wanting in and out from the deck.

A day out on the water makes you dog tired!

Zzzzzzzzzz...
All in all she did great for her first time in the water.

Pages from Daffy's Diary

Daffy had her 3rd agility class, and went on some bigger obstacles!
She did great on the A-Frame and the Teeter!

She has 2 more classes to go, and we think she is enjoying herself!

TSK and Daffy have been getting more and more comfortable with each other.
Here are a couple of photos of them playing...and such.

Ingrid had bought a life jacket for Daffy in case of flooding near her house (If she had to evacuate with her in bad weather). Thankfully she never had to use it....
We are going to see how Daffy feels about water. We really have no idea, and will take it slow.
We would like to get her out on the water on a paddleboard. That might be a lot to ask of a girl from Kansas! We did some dry land training and she did great in the
 the garage!! :)

Stay tuned for more Daffy Adventures!
