Florence....

Oregon, not Italy....

This Florence has the Siuslaw River, the Italian one has the Arno....but that is where the similarities end...
One we decided where we were going we had to get the motorhome to the house so we could pack it and plug it in. Which meant backing it up our long steep driveway. -easier to back up then back down.

Today we are going for a bike ride, some dog walks, some sightseeing and dinner at the best restaurant in town according to Yelp and some random lady we talked to.

It's been a busy week....

We had last week's agility class...

We could see the whole thing from our windows.... very scary. We were lucky that we were not part of the evacuation. Although if the winds had changed direction that might not have been the case.

I'm happy to report that as of today it has been 100% contained!

 Today we had our final agility class.... Daffy did great!

We are readying the motorhome for our first adventure since we have moved here. It will be Daffy's first trip. TSK is a seasoned pro.

SUP'in Daffy

Today we took Daffy to Hosmer Lake in the Cascades for her first ride on a stand up paddle board. This was a big ask for our little girl from Kansas. We don't know if she has ever been near a body of water bigger than a bathtub. She fell in a couple of times but her tail kept wagging through it all.

Treats are always a good way to start a new adventure.

Part of the 'falling in' is that Daffy likes us to stay together. If she was on Dana's board she wanted to go to Jim's board... jumping in the water.... and visa versa... Reminds us of a certain kitty and wanting in and out from the deck.

A day out on the water makes you dog tired!

All in all she did great for her first time in the water.
